Una donna straordinaria ha lasciato questo mondo per ritrovare Dio. Abbiamo conosciuto Kyra e la sua splendida famiglia a Roma dove noi viviamo. Le bambine spesso giocavamo con nostra figlia Sabrina è organizzavano cene per far loro conoscere il cibo italiano. Kyra era una mamma amorevole è una moglie affettuosa, era un amica gentile e disponibile. Mi sarebbe piaciuto portarla in Sicilia....ci mancherai Kyra!!!! Ma porteremo sempre nel cuore il sul splendido sorriso e la luce che emanava!! Kyra era un esempio da seguire, una di quelle persone che hanno la capacità di migliorare gli altri. Il nostro pensiero e le nostre preghiere sono ora per Reid e le bimbe. Dio vi sia la forza e la luce per superare questa prova. Con il nostro abbraccio più sincero.

I remember Kyra as such a wonderful, sweet girl and friend of mine from our college Bible study. She displayed the aroma of Christ to all of us girls... always so joyful, loving, kind, compassionate. This news was absolutely devastating to hear. This week I am praying for the family Psalm 34:17-18... "When the righteous cry for help, the LORD hears and delivers them out of all their troubles. I cannot stop thinking about all of you and the pain and sense of loss you are all feeling through this. My heart continues to ache for each of you and my prayers will not let up until I know that God has brought you the strength, peace, and comfort each of you need to get through this difficult time.
Unfortunately, I only knew Kyra through her proud dad (my brother-in-Christ and closes friend), Joe Carp. Funny though, I felt that I knew her well, as Joe would speak often of her, as he was so proud his daughters. At our morning men's Bible studies or out on the golf course, Joe would share the stories of Kyra's family and their work as missionaries over in Rome.
Our ways are not His ways; so, we cannot fully understand why our amazing God work take home so early, such an awesome, young, Christian warrior. All I know is that He never makes a mistake and must have felt that in some way this would further glorify Him and bring others to Christ through this tragic event. Praise God that she has gone home to Him and realizes a joy that we cannot even fathom.
May God bless and hold each of you in His arms and may you find the peace and comfort that can only be found through Him.

Such a wonderful person, from such a wonderful family. What great times the girls had as they were doing some teen growing together. Kyra was certainly a positive influence on many people, long before she became a career missionary.
