Obituary for Nancy Perkins Crook

Nancy Perkins Crook, 84, entered God’s Kingdom on Wednesday, June 1, 2016 at her residence.

She was born in Harrodsburg, KY and graduated from Georgetown College. She was a dedicated teacher who retired after 48 years. She enjoyed mission trips, spoke fluent Spanish and loved sharing the gospel with children. She was a southern woman with a kind and gentle charm and a great sense of humor. She moved to Rydal, Georgia with her son’s family where she joined Woffords Crossroads Baptist Church. She was active in the choir, taught Sunday School and loved her church family.

She is preceded in death by her husband of 44 years, Herman Crook, husband Carl Rassler Sr. and son Kelly Crook.

She is survived by her daughter Karen Crook Greenhalgh, husband Jeffrey and granddaughter Kasey; son Kevin Crook, wife Kelly and grandchildren Garrett, Jordan and Jaden.

A family service was held at High Hill Baptist Church under the direction of Gordon Funeral Service & Crematory in Monroe, North Carolina.

Parnick Jennings Funeral Home and Cremation Services were in charge of arrangements in Cartersville.
