Hugh Lamar Wynn, age 64, of Rockmart, died on Friday, October 6, 2017 at his residence. He was born in Cartersville, Georgia, on April 3, 1953, the son of Florence Bennett Wynn and the late John Wynn.
Mr. Wynn was of the Baptist faith. He worked for the Dellinger Group for over 30 years. He loved to hunt and fish and loved NASCAR.
Survivors include his children, Jason (Tara) Wynn of Aragon, Amy (Mitch) Williams of Aragon, Michael (Michelle) Parker of Taylorsville, Jessica (Adam) Martin of Cartersville; his grandchildren, Jacob Wynn and fiancée Leeah Formby, Kera Wynn, Hailey Bennett, Caleb Bennett, Dalton Reynolds, Kylie Parker, Cliffton Parker, Coleton Parker, Adam Martin, Ben Martin, Isaiah Martin, Sophia Martin; his great-grandchild, Bentley Beau Bennett; his mother, Maggie Wynn; his brother Jimmy Wynn; his sister, Gail (Bruce) Ross; and several extended family.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 10, 2017 in the chapel of Parnick Jennings Funeral Home and Cremation Services with Brother Gene Johnson officiating. Interment will follow in Sunset Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. on Monday at the funeral home.
Serving as pallbearers will be his nephews and grandsons.
