Obituary for Juanita D. McGill

Juanita D.  McGill
Mrs. Juanita Renslow McGill, 84, of Cartersville, died on Wednesday, January 24, 2018 at her residence.

She was born in Etowah, Tennessee on December 20, 1933, the daughter of the late Alfred Renslow and Martha Jane Gibson Renslow. She was of the Baptist faith and enjoyed going to the mountains, watching Braves baseball and spending time with her family. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Clarence Edward McGill; son, Frank McGill; grandson, Chad McGill; brothers, Lawrence Renslow , Bill Renslow and J.L. Renslow; and sisters, Bette Ford and Pearl Caldwell.

Survivors include her children, Mary Collins (Johnny), Regina Haney, Joey McGill (Libby) and Jay McGill (Karen); 12 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; 2 Great-great-grandchildren; daughter-in-law, Kathy McGill; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, January 27, 2018 in the chapel of Parnick Jennings Funeral Home with The Reverend Forrest Leachman officiating. Interment will follow in the Zion Hill Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 – 8 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home.
