Obituary for Betty F. Brock

Betty F.  Brock
Mrs. Betty F. Brock, age 91, of Cartersville, passed away on Thursday, February 22, 2018 at Cartersville Medical Center.

She was a native of Bartow County, born on August 14, 1926, to the late James Emmet Davis and Maude Esther Mathis Davis.

Mrs. Brock was a member of Raccoon Creek Baptist Church and enjoyed cooking and working in her flowers. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her sons; Jeffery Thomas Brock and Donald Eugene Brock; her brothers, Huey Davis, Henry Davis and Bud Davis; along with a grandson, Michael Anthony Bagley.

Survivors include her children, JoAnne McDonald of Conyers, Carolyn Wing of McDonough, Elaine Reeves of Cartersville and Brenda Brock of Cartersville; her sisters, Barbara White and Phoebe Davis of Cartersville; a brother, Richard Davis; seven grandchildren, Candy Glass, Tiffany Davis, Heather Ann Bagley, Tina Louise Morales, James Thomas Bagley, Dustin Lamar Bagley and Richard Ray Bagley; and 9 great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, February 25, 2018 in the chapel of Parnick Jennings Funeral Home and Cremation Services with Pastor Justin Kimball officiating. Interment will follow in Raccoon Creek Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from Noon – 1:30 p.m. on Sunday prior to the service.

Serving as pallbearers will be Dusty Bagley, Corey Gravley, Thad Wigington, Jay Bagley, Stephen Davis and Larry Mulkey.
