Obituary for Margaret Marie Brown

Margaret Marie  Brown
Mrs. Margaret Marie Brown, 86, of Cartersville, died on Friday, March 2, 2018 at Cartersville Medical Center. Born on July 13, 1931 in Rome, Georgia; she was the daughter of the late James H. Milam and Lillie Tant Lecroy, and her step father, Roy.

Mrs. Brown was retired from Nantucket Manufacturing. She was a member of Central Baptist Church, loved flowers and liked to cook. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband of 63 ½ years, John W. Brown.

She is survived by her son, James W. Brown (Diann) of Cartersville; her grandchildren, Tina Markley of Cartersville, Heather Brown (Stephen) of Cartersville, Jamie Brown (Mindy) of Taylorsville, Shawn Brown of Cartersville; 9 great grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, March 5, 2018 in the chapel of Parnick Jennings Funeral Home and Cremation Services, with Reverend Charles Moore officiating. Interment will follow in Sunset Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends on Sunday, March 4, 2018 from 5-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Serving as pallbearers will be Jamie Brown, Shawn Brown, Dillon Brown, Trevor Simmons, Curtis Powell, Stephen Brown, Cody Brown and Tate Brown.
