Obituary for Anita Gayle Westerhoff (Hearn)
Anita Gayle Westerhoff, 79, of Cartersville, passed away Sunday, March 14, 2021 in Marietta.
Born August 24, 1941 in Corinth, Mississippi, she is the daughter of the late Samuel Hearn and Ina Hearn. She is also preceded in death by her brother, Lynn Hearn; and her nephew, Tim Bell.
Survivors include her son, Lewis (Ashley) Westerhoff; grandchildren, Alexis Westerhoff, and Aaron Westerhoff; brother, Mark Hearn; sister, Bonnie (Steve) Gilbertson; sister-in-law, Donna Hearn; nieces, Suzanne Allman and Kristie Lackey; and several great nieces and nephews.
Anita was a long-time resident of Cartersville and a member of First Baptist Church of Cartersville. She taught Sunday school and Awanas club. She loved the Lord, her church, gardening, and Toby Keith. She was a wonderful grandmother and loved her grandchildren immensely.
A funeral service is scheduled on Sunday, March 21, 2021 at Parnick Jennings Funeral Home at 2:00 pm with Reverend Kyle Walker officiating. A visitation will be held from 1:00 pm – 2:00 pm on Sunday prior to the service, at the funeral home.
