Obituary for Annie Sue Hembree

Annie Sue Hembree, 75, of Cartersville, passed away on Saturday, February 22, 2020 at her residence.
Born on August 23, 1944 in Rockmart, Georgia, she was the daughter of the late John Lee Stringer and Mary Sue Stringer. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her son, James Hembree; her brother, Robert (Elsie) Stringer; and her sister, Mary Ann (Junior) Pirkle.

Survivors include her children, Lynn Hembree, Harold Hembree, Boyce (Michele) Hembree, Amanda (Jeff) Clark; her grandchildren, Brandy Hembree, Jason Hembree, Tonya Hembree, Timothy Frazier, Chris Hembree, Alexus Hembree, Kelli James, Bo Hembree, Austin Hembree, Ryan Clark and Naomi Clark; her siblings, Matthew (Virginia) Stringer, Johnny (Pat) Stringer, Donny Stringer, Margie (Charles) Hembree; (Kathy) Stringer; 11 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Annie worked as a seamstress at Nantucket Sewing and Design for many years. She loved to draw and had a green thumb, she enjoyed working with her plants and flowers.

A Graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February, 26, 2020 at Floyd Creek Baptist Church Cemetery in Taylorsville with Pastor Jeff Clark officiating.
