Obituary for Betty Jo Bullard
Ms. Betty Head Bullard, 89, of Cartersville, died on Friday, May 31, 2019 at Townsend Park Health and Rehabilitation.
Born in Cartersville, on May 15, 1930, she was the daughter of the late Carol C. Head and Maxie Yancey Head. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her son, Ricky Brock; her brothers, Alvin Head, and Louie Head.
Ms. Bullard was a devoted loving mother and grandmother. She enjoyed gospel music and singing. She also loved working in her flower beds.
Survivors include her daughters, Joyce Holton, Gail Hoff (Russell); her grandchildren, Carla Sloan (Brian), Christy Eidson (Jody), Cathy Sisson, Lynn Harris (Noal), Jeremy Hubbard, Shasta Lowery, Jennifer Moore; great-grandchildren, Brianne, Bailey, Brittney, Jaxon, Erica, Mikah, Heaven, Anzley, Ashley, Gabrielle, Emily, Christian; and brother, Billy Head.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, June 3, 2019 in the chapel of Parnick Jennings Funeral Home with Reverend Barbara Trussell officiating. Interment will follow in Zion Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5:00 - 8:00 p.m. on Sunday, June 2, 2019 at the funeral home.
Serving as pallbearers will be Brian Sloan, Mikah Hubbard, Pat Hollifield, Matt Holton and Cass Jackson.
