Obituary for Brenda Norton Padgett
Brenda Norton Padgett, 68, of Cartersville Georgia, went to her heavenly home on December 31, 2022.
She was born on September 10, 1954 to Frank Norton and Shirley Cagle. She is preceded in death by her father, Frank Norton; mother and step-father, Shirley and Homer Cagle; brother, Charles (Boo) Norton; brother-in-law, Johnny Collum; and mother and father-in-law, Grady and June Padgett.
Survivors include her husband of 52 years, William Padgett; brothers, Ricky Norton and Doug Norton; sister, Retha Collum; brother and sister-in-law Ernie and Teresa Padgett; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Brenda loved to garden and care for animals. She enjoyed feeding her goats popcorn and loaf-bread and knew each goat by name. She also loved to care for her dog.
A graveside funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm on Monday, January 9, 2023 at Sunset Memory Gardens with Keith Willard officiating.
