Obituary for Carol Johnson
Ms. Carol Garland Johnson, 87, of Pine Log, died Thursday, April 30, 2020 at Blue Ridge Assisted Living and Memory Care.
Born January 10, 1933 in Bartow County, she was the daughter of the late Dave and Edith Garland. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her son, Eddie Johnson; her grandson, David Brownlow; and her former husband, Ed Johnson.
Survivors include her children, Sharon (Jerry) Carr, Judy (Lee) Brownlow, Kelli Satterfield; her grandchildren, Seth (Kristin) Brownlow, Christy (Mike) Stephenson, Nick Johnson, Savannah Satterfield; Six great-grandchildren; and her sister, Shirley (John) Brown.
A Graveside service will be held on Monday, May 4, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church Cemetery with Reverend Jody Orton officiating.
Serving as pallbearers will be Seth Brownlow, Christy Stephenson, Nick Johnson, Savannah Satterfield, Mike Stephenson, Austin Smith, Londyn Taylor, Layla Stephenson, Sadie Brownlow, Eli Brownlow, and Dave Brownlow.
