Obituary for Charlie F Boswell

Charlie Fain Boswell, 90, of Cartersville, passed away on Saturday, March 28, 2020 at his residence, surrounded by his family.

Born on January 31, 1930, in Adairsville, Georgia, he was the son of the late Fred Boswell and Ada Black Boswell. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his thirteen brothers and sisters.

Survivors include his wife of 69 years, Christine Boswell. Their Children; Eddie (Vickie) Boswell, Fred David Boswell, Debra Mullinax and Connie (Larry) Jennings; his grandchildren, Dee Dee (Sam) Jackson, Alisha Boswell, Candis (Lance) Carroll, Rekay Clark, Coty Mullinax, Bruce (Jennifer) Jennings and Adam (Sarah) Jennings; his great grandchildren, Kaleb Dunagan, Briana Dunagan, Kariah Clark, LaDarius Clark, Rylan Jennings, Bridget Jennings, Nash Jennings, Olivia Jennings and Madelyn Jennings; his great great grandchild, Addison Grace Sanders and his brother James (Evelyn) Boswell, also numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

Charlie was a devout Christian and loved the Lord. He attended Liberty Square Church and David Street Church of God. He was a veteran of the United States Army and retired from Lockheed Martin after 38 years. He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather and great great grandfather. He loved being with his family, going to church and working on antique cars.

The family would like to send a special thank you to Agape Hospice for all they did for the family.

A private service will be held at 8:00am Thursday, April 2, 2020 in the chapel of Parnick Jennings Funeral Home with Pastor Doug Vernon officiating. Burial will follow at Georgia National Cemetery. A private visitation will be Wednesday, April 1, 2020 from 4pm–8pm.

Serving as pallbearers will be Kaleb Dunagan, Bruce Jennings, Adam Jennings, Sam Jackson, Russ Boswell, Shawn Smith and honorary pallbearers, LaDarius Clark, Terry Huckabee, Marvin Boswell, Phillip Boswell and Mike Boswell.
