Obituary for Sue Glass
Sue Glass, 72, of Rydal Georgia, passed away on May 5, 2022 at her residence.
Born on February 21, 1950, she is the daughter of the late Sam Wade and Rosa Wade. She is also preceded in death by her sisters, Collen Satterfield and Ruth Perry; and her brother, Howell Wade.
Survivors include her daughter, Lynn (Marshall) Woods; grandchildren, Marshall Woods III “Trey”, Aaron Woods, and Parker Woods; great-grandchild, David Woods; sister, Linda Wood; nieces, Shannon Black and Deborah Southern; and nephews, Brandon Wood, Ryan Satterfield, Brenton Perry, Sam Wade, and Seth Wade.
Sue loved to play the piano for the churches she attended and was involved in a quartet. She was a member of oak Grove Baptist Church. She loved making floral arrangements and being with her grandkids. She was an amazing mother (the best) and grandmother.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm on Tuesday, May 10, 2022 in the chapel of Parnick Jennings Funeral Home with Pastor Linwood Brown officiating. Interment will follow at Zion Hill Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 11:00 am to 1:30 pm prior to the service.
Serving as pallbearers will be Marshall Woods, Marshall Woods III, Aaron Woods and Parker Woods.
