Obituary for Crayton J Smith
Crayton Smith, age 76, passed away Monday December 23, 2019 in Boaz, Alabama.
Born July 27, 1943 in Asheville, North Carolina he was a son of the late Crayton Smith Sr. and Geneva McMahan Smith Holllingsworth. Crayton was also preceded in death by his wife Carol Smith.
Crayton loved everything about being outdoors. He was well liked and respected by all that knew him. He retired from Chemical Products after 24 years of faithful service.
Survivors include his daughter Jane (Gary) Nations; his sons Michael (Laura) Smith, Allen Smith, Greg (Sherry) Smith, Joe (Rachelle) Smith, and Todd (Nikki) Smith; 17 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on Sunday December 29, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Parnick Jennings Funeral Home with Greg Patterson officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memory Gardens. The family will have a time of visitation at the funeral home on Saturday December 28, 2019 from 4:00 - 6:00 p.m.
Serving as pallbearers will be Crayton’s grandsons, Blake Nations, Michael, Brad, Nick and Hayden Smith and Mike Rosser.
