Cynthia Alexander Drake of Rydal, Georgia passed away March 26, 2022.
Born in Hanceville, Alabama on October 27, 1962, she was the daughter of the late Lolan Don Alexander and Peggy Jane Alexander. She is also preceded in death by her brother, Philip.
Cindy is survived by her loving husband Fred Drake Jr., her children, Joshua Taylor Drake (Amber) and Emily DiAnn Drake (Jessica), her sister Amy Alexander Whitman (Cody), her grandson Tristan Alexander Drake, and several extended family members.
Cindy graciously served others as a radiology tech, a medical office manager, a church secretary, and an elementary school room mom. She fiercely loved her family, including all her pets, which were always by her side. Her favorite hobby was spending time with her family, whether it was taking a family vacation or gathering to watch the University of Alabama play football. She loved to travel, especially cruising, which allowed her to see much of the Caribbean. She loved to garden and care for her plants, particularly her favorite irises. She was gifted with creativity and was famous for her elaborate bows. She collected roosters and loved purple and elephants because they represented family to her. Cindy will be deeply missed but always remembered as the independent, compassionate woman she was.
Cindy, we love you to the moon and back and a bushel and a peck.
