Obituary for Debra Jane Jacobson (Smith)
Debra Jane Jacobson, 63 of Cartersville, passed away on Saturday, January 2, 2021 at Cartersville Medical Center.
Born on February 25, 1957, she was the daughter of the late Oliver J. Smith and Sarah Stewart. She is preceded in death by her Husband, Donald Jacobson.
Survivors include her son, Austin (Lauren) Jacobson; grandchildren Jesse and Lily Jacobson; two sisters, Carolyn Arp and Donna (Alan) Cagle; and several nieces and nephews.
Debra and Donald were together for 15+ years. She was also employed at Summit Radiology for over 20 years. Debra was a loving and caring mother, and her favorite thing to do was spend time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She was loved by everyone and will be missed dearly.
A private graveside will be held on Saturday, January 9, 2021 at 2:00 pm with Alan Cagle officiating. The family will receive friends at Parnick Jennings Funeral Home on Saturday from 12:00 pm to 1:30 pm prior to the service. The family asks friends to practice social distancing and wear a mask.
