Mrs. Doris Bennett Pendley, 89, passed away on Sunday, December 29, 2019 at Wellstar Paulding Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Dallas.
Born in Kingston, Georgia on July 24, 1930 she was the daughter of the late George H. Bennett and the late Mary Williams Bennett. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Reverend Ottis Pendley.
Mrs. Pendley was employed as a clerk at Robbins Department Store and was a dedicated pastor’s wife.
Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Gail and Tom Moore; her son, Andrew Pendley; her grandson and his wife, Andy and Samantha Jones; her great-grandson, Drew Jones; her great-granddaughter, Jade Jones; her sister, Barbara Woodall; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 31, 2019 in the chapel of Parnick Jennings Funeral Home and Cremation Services with Reverend Alton Williams officiating. Burial will follow in Sunset Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home.
