Obituary for Doyle Edward Lee
Doyle Edward Lee, 80, of Cartersville Georgia, passed away on April 4, 2023 at Piedmont Cartersville Medical Center.
He was born on March 10, 1943 to the late Clifford Lee and the Late Annie Mae Lee. In addition to his parents, he is also preceded in death by his wife, Shirley Lee; great granddaughter, Harmony Lynn; sister, Louvinnie Roberts; brothers, David Lee, Charles Lee, and Floyd Lee; as well as his best friend Jumper, who was waiting for him at the Pearly Gate.
Survivors include his daughters, Vera Evans (Michael) and Jean (Squicky) Irwin (Ricky); grandchildren, Ashley Evans (Alana), Keisha Lynn (Stephen), Austin Worsham, and Cameron Silvers (Spiro); great grandchildren, Lane Walker, Destiny Lynn, and Braelynn Lynn; and a brother, Bobby Lee.
A funeral service will be held at 11:30 am on Wednesday, April 12, 2023 at Parnick Jennings Funeral Home with Reverend Ronnie Pope and Ricky Erwin officiating. Burial will follow at Georgia National Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Tuesday, April 11, 2023 at the funeral home.
Serving as pallbearers will be Austin Worsham, Jesse Miller, Alana Presley, Lane Walker, Cameron Silvers, Stephen Lynn and Wayne Lee.
Honorary pallbearers are Shane Irwin and Bobby Lee.
