Obituary for Drew Hammonds
Kevin Andrew Hammonds (Drew), 21, of Cartersville Georgia, went home on November 15, 2022.
Drew was born on February 9, 2001 to Amanda Leigh Jenkins and Kevin Wayne Hammonds. He attended Cloverleaf Elementary School, Trinity School and K-12 Home Schooling.
He was a loving son, brother, and friend. He was always trying to help others and make them smile. He worked several jobs and loved to learn new things.
Drew is preceded in death by his great-grandparents, Tommie and Jean Johnson; grandmother Judy Johnson; and grandfather Charles Hammonds.
He is survived by his mother, Amanda Jenkins; father, Kevin Hammonds; grandfather, Tommy Lamar Johnson; grandparents Sherri and Phillip Pruitt; Great Aunt Donna Johnson; brothers, Joshua Jenkins, Markus Hammonds and Adam Hammonds; sister, Ava Hammonds; great-grandparents Jeanette and Terry Mundy; great aunts and uncles; and several aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
The family will receive friends from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Tuesday, November 29, 2022. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, November 30, 2022 in the chapel of Parnick Jennings Funeral Home.
