Obituary for Elmer "Buddy" Glen Sinclair

Elmer “Buddy” Glen Sinclair, 93, of White passed away on Monday, October 5, 2020 at Assured Hospice in Cartersville.

Born on June 21, 1927 in White, he was the son of the late Acie “Pete” Franklin Sinclair and the late Pearl King Sinclair. He was also preceded in death by his wife of forty-nine years, Virginia Kay Sinclair; and his sisters, Ellen Morris (Benny), Ann Fossett (William), and Shelby McDaniel.

Buddy was a member of Rowland Springs Baptist Church. He loved his church; and loved being outdoors. Buddy enjoyed hunting, fishing, and gardening or just sitting on his porch and waving at everyone who passed.

Survivors include his sister, Grace Ingram; his sister-in-law, Elizabeth Kay Rutledge (Jimmy); his brother-in-law, Alton Kay (Brenda); his nieces and nephews, Joel Kay (Lori), Darlene Johnson (David), Vickie Elrod (Michael), Johnathan Rutledge (Ashley), Christopher Rutledge, Wayne Seymour (Karen), James Seymour, Michael Fossett (Linda), and Frank Morris (Christy); a special great-nephew, Kason Rutledge; and several great-nieces and nephews.

The public is invited to attend a graveside service at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday, October 8, 2020 at Rowland Springs Baptist Church Cemetery with Mr. Alton Kay officiating.
