Obituary for Glenda Sloan
Glenda Gail Sloan, 70, of Cartersville passed away on September 24, 2020 at Cartersville Medical Center.
Born on November 25, 1949 in Cartersville, she was the daughter of the late William D. Pinson and the late Hazel Darnell Pinson. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Robert G. Sloan; her brother, Michael Pinson; and her special cousin, Frances Roberson.
Glenda loved her entire family, especially her children and grandchildren.
Survivors include her sons and daughters-in-law, Brian and Carla Sloan, Jeff and Brandy Sloan, and Darrin and Melissa Sloan; her grandchildren, Carter Sloan, Avery Sloan, Brianne Sloan, and Bailey Sloan; and her special cousins, George Roberson, Wanda Roaderick, Tim Roberson, and Jan Ivey.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 22, 2020 in the chapel of Parnick Jennings Funeral Home and Cremation Services with Reverend David Baker and Reverend Crawford
Greeson officiating. Burial will follow in Cassville Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12:00 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. on Thursday prior to the service.
