Mr. Hoyt Campbell, 88, of Cartersville passed away on Tuesday, January 12, 2021 at Cartersville Medical Center.
Born on August 26, 1932 in Trion, Georgia he was the son of the late Robert Campbell and the late Ruby Jacobs Campbell.
Mr. Campbell served his country in the United States Navy and later was a conductor with Norfolk Southern Railroad until his retirement. He was a Deacon and Chairman at Oothcalooga Baptist Church in Adairsville. He enjoyed going to the beach, the mountains and watching football and golf.
Survivors include his wife, Bernice Ray Campbell; his sons, Jason Campbell and Jeremy Campbell (Falena); his grandchildren, Christi Kyle (Justin), Lindsey Campbell, Zachary Campbell, Savannah Campbell, Sierra Campbell, and Brody Campbell; his great grandchildren, Jace Kyle and Campbell Grace Kyle; and his brother, Dennis Campbell.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 16, 2021 in the chapel of Parnick Jennings Funeral Home and Cremation Services with Reverend Michael Hunt and Reverend Gary Hibberts officiating. Burial will follow in Sunset Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, January 15, 2021 at the funeral home.
Serving as pallbearers will be the Deacons of Oothcalooga Baptist Church.
