Obituary for Hubert Estes Cole
Hubert Cole, of Cartersville Georgia, passed away on Wednesday, February 22, 2023. He was born in Dallas Georgia, on June 2, 1937 to Clifford R. Cole and Lula E. Cole. In addition to his parents, he is also preceded in death by his first wife, Donna Cole; second wife, Mary Cole; step-mother, Arlecy A. Cole; brothers, Ira Cole and Jake Cole; and sisters, Edna Blankenship and Mavis Owens.
Hubert attended Technical School and worked at Lockheed for 42 years. He was involved in church for many years; he taught Sunday school, directed the choir, and was very involved in vacation bible school. He stood strong in his faith and loved his family so much and was always trying to help in some way. In his spare time, he enjoyed working on cars, building things in his workshop and traveling.
Survivors include his son, Cliff Cole; step-son, Larry Ison; nieces, Nina Sanders, Noma Towery, and Brenda Howard; and nephews, Ronnie Cole and Lamar Blankenship.
A funeral service for Hubert will be held on Friday, March 3, 2023 at 2:00 pm in the chapel of Parnick Jennings Funeral Home with Pastor Sammy Burgess officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm prior to the service.
