Obituary for Jack Fowler

Jack Fowler, 68, of Cartersville passed away on Saturday, June 13, 2020 at his residence.

Born in Cartersville on April 6, 1952 he was the son of the late James C. Fowler and the late Louise Huggins Fowler. He was also preceded in death by his daughter, Tonya Kennedy; all of his brothers and sisters; and his adoptive parents, Robert and Gert Martin.

Jack was employed as a mechanic at Lockheed until his retirement. He was a member and served as a Deacon of Kingston Baptist Church. He loved working with his hands and could build anything. Jack was a loving father, grandfather, and husband.

Survivors include his wife, Jo Ellen Tidwell Fowler; his daughters, April Cline (Bill), and Jackie Hovatter (Shane); his grandchildren, Joshua Cline, Jack Chandler Cline, Jonah Cline, Reece Kennedy, Tristan Kennedy, Sophie Hovatter, Amiyah Hovatter, and Elijah Hovatter; his son-in-law, Ronny Kennedy; and his special friends, Jim and Martha Howell.

A memorial service will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 27, 2020 at Kingston Baptist Church, 40 Main St., Kingston, GA 30145 with Reverend Bill Cline officiating. The family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 27, 2020 at Kingston Baptist Church prior to the service.
