Obituary for Jantsen Clay Hyde
Jantsen Clay Hyde, 28, of Adairsville passed away on Thursday, January 30, 2020 in Cartersville.
Born on December 20, 1991 in Marietta Georgia, he was the son of Ronnie Hyde and Jeni (Matthews) Hyde. He was preceded in death by his grandfather Wayne Matthews and his aunt Jackie Owens.
Survivors include his parents Jeni Hyde (fiancé Tracy Edwards) and Ronnie Hyde (fiancée Wendy Simmons); his daughter Taelor Star Hyde and her mom Jazmane Davis; Brothers Richard Hyde (April) and Chesney Hyde; his sisters Shae Lindenfelser and Alexis Hyde; aunts Lisa “Kiki” Parker (fiancé Stan Chadwick) and Shelia Carter (Ashley); uncles Alan Matthews (who was Jantsen’s mentor and he had a special bond with), Ricky Hyde, Terry Hyde, Greg Hyde, Thomas Couch; Grandparents Shirley Thacker, Josephine Walsh, Jack and Beverly Hyde; nieces and nephews Bristol, Brooke, Bentley, Brooke and Skylar and many cousins and friends.
Jantsen’s biggest joy and accomplishment was his daughter coming into his life. His number 1 enjoyment fishing and his uncle Alan’s lake was his sanctuary. He loved hunting, 4 wheeling and mudding. He loved the outdoors and you couldn’t keep him inside. He was an achiever and his go to person for life advice was his mom and maw maw. He was a gentleman and very respectful. He would take up for anybody, was always the champion for the underdog. He was his own person, a spritely young country boy who was funny, silly and all his friends and family love him dearly. Jantsen was a complete dictionary on Marvel comics and movies and he was a serious gamer. As a child he got into gaming and as he grew up his passion for games grew stronger.
Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, February 2, 2020 in the chapel of Parnick Jennings Funeral Home and Cremation Services with Pastor Keith Reid officiating. Burial will follow in Chandler Cemetery in Calhoun. The family will receive friends from 4:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 1, 2020 at the funeral home.
Serving as pallbearers will be James Bailey, John Bailey, Scott Southerland, Austin Carter, Justin Carter and Ashley Carter. Honorary pallbearers are Christon Hightower, Skyler Styles, Greg Hightower, Tony Ramos, Christopher Wright and John Shirley.
