Obituary for Jeff Collum

Jeffery Wayne Collum, 67, of Cartersville passed away on Tuesday, April 5, 2022, at his residence. He was a lifetime resident of Bartow County, happily married 42 years until his wife's passing. His greatest joys were his children & grandchildren. His work ethic and patience were his greatest traits. Jeff was a loyal employee of Atlantic Steel Co. for 22 years and GEM Contractors for 24 years to present.

Born on August 30, 1954, in Cartersville, he was the son of the late Allen "Clark" Collum and the late Ruth Romine Collum. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Sandra Cline Collum; his grandson, Jeffery Chance Collum; and his siblings, Frank Collum, Jerry Collum, Edward Collum, and Magdalene Cline.

Survivors include his children, Jody Collum (Stephanie), Chad Collum (Jessi), Wendy Turner (Josh); his grandchildren, Sarah Collum, Ashley Collum, Gracey Collum, Piper Collum, Taylor Collum, Savannah Gossett, Dawson Flowers, Liley Turner, and Klyde Turner; great-grandchildren, Legend Greene, Phoenix Greene, Knight Greene, Waylon Gossett, and Josie Kay Gossett; his siblings, Jearlene Herron, George Collum, Willene Perry, Bo Collum, Lillie Huskins, and Joyce Ann Hufstetler.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, April 8, 2022, in the chapel of Parnick Jennings Funeral Home with Reverend Allen Huskins officiating. Burial will follow in White UMC Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 7, 2022, at the funeral home. Serving as pallbearers will be Mark Collum, Michael Collum, Tommy Hunt, Troy Hufstetler, Jeremy Huskins, and Jason Flowers.
