Obituary for Jerry Patterson
Jerry Edward Patterson, age 67, of Snellville, Georgia, passed away at Northside Hospital Gwinnett on December 29, 2022 surrounded by his loving family.
Born on May 23, 1955, in Cartersville, Georgia, Jerry was the son of the late Burley Edward Patterson Jr. and Lily Marie Patterson. He is also preceded in death by his wife Carolyn Patterson, and his siblings James Russell Patterson, Billy Joe Patterson, and Linda Ann Patterson.
Jerry is survived by his loving siblings Doreen Lackey (Donald Earl), Marie Hayes, Jimmy Patterson (Tara), Brenda Peace (James), and Gary Patterson (Becky); as well as several nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family members.
Jerry was of Baptist faith and was a member of Mt. Olivet Church in Blairsville, Georgia. He loved the Lord and read his Bible all the time. He enjoyed fishing (even when the fish weren’t biting) and loved to go thrift shopping. Jerry was a very sweet soul and never said a bad word about anybody. He was a great brother and can never be replaced. He will be sorely missed.
A memorial service will be held for Jerry in the Parnick Jennings Funeral Home Chapel on January 7, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. Officiating will be Mr. Parnick Jennings.
