Obituary for Johnny Clinton Stringer
Johnny Clinton Stringer, 74, of Cartersville Georgia, passed away peacefully on May 31, 2022 at his residence.
Born on December, 14, 1947, he is the son of the late John Stringer and the late Mary Sue Stringer. He is also preceded in death by his son, Russell Stringer; brothers, Robert Stringer and RB Stringer; and sisters, Mary Ann Pirkle and Annie Sue Hembree.
He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Patsy Stringer; grandchildren, Dustin & Jordan Stringer, Austin & Kaylee Stringer, and Kaitlyn Stringer; a great-grandbaby, Taylynn Stringer; brothers, Matthew & Virginia Stringer and Donnie Stringer; sister, Margie & Charles Hembree; and A sister-in-law, Kathy Stringer.
Johnny was a man of God and strong Faith. He attended Cartersville Church of the Covenant and he was an avid reader of the Bible. He loved his family, especially his grandkids and great-grandbaby. He enjoyed collecting lawn mowers and using his hands at woodworking.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm on Monday, June 6, 2022 at Cartersville Church of the Covenant. He will Lie In State from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm. Interment will follow at Sunset memory Gardens. The family will receive friends from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Sunday, June 5, 2022 at the funeral home.
