Joyce Cabe, 63, of Cartersville passed away on Thursday, August 12, 2021, at Cartersville Medical Center.
Born on August 12, 1958, in Kankakee, Illinois she was the daughter of the late Wade Plemons and the late June Plemons. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her son, Stacy Cabe; her daughter-in-law, Amber Queen; and her sister Sharon Dougherty.
Survivors include her husband of 42+ years, Ricky Cabe; daughter Christy Bailey and her husband Jason; brother Ernie Owens; sisters Geneva Robertson and Carolyn Parris; grandchildren Makenzie Bailey, Carson Bailey, Jacob Cabe, and James Cabe; numerous nieces and nephews; and her best friend Pam Blankney.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, August 17, 2021, in the chapel of Parnick Jennings Funeral Home and Cremation Services with Reverend Josh James and Reverend Doyal Cabe officiating. Serving as pallbearers will be Jacob Cabe, James Cabe, Carson Bailey, Johnny Hunt, Roger Bonine, and Ricky Wooton. Burial will follow in Sunset Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Monday, August 16, 2021.
