Obituary for Lee Thomas
Lee Thomas, 76, of Cartersville, passed away Thursday, November 5, 2020 in Cartersville.
Born March 31, 1944 in Arab, Alabama, she was the daughter of the late Curtis and Nora Yarbrough.
Survivors include her Husband of 59 years, Bradford Thomas; her children Cathy Denise Davis, Philip Darrell (Tammy) Thomas and Dedria Lee Hunt; grandchildren Courtney (Nick) Hann, Megan (Leo) Mitchell, Casey (Ashley) Davis, Bailey Hunt and Logan Hunt; Great Grandchildren Kylie Hann, Khloe Hann, Emma Mitchell, Ella Mitchell and Ford Davis.
Lee stood strong in her Faith and followed her husband as he served the Lord during his time in the ministry. She enjoyed spending time with her family and loved having them over and cooking for them. There was never a moment when she did not make anyone feel at home in her care. She had a smile that was contagious and could light up a room. She loved and was loved by many.
A visitation will be held at Parnick Jennings Funeral Home Saturday, November 7, 2020 from 5:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m., the funeral service will be held at Bethany Baptist Church, 42 Old Alabama Rd SE, Emerson, GA 30137, Sunday, November 8, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. with Ennis Stone, Casey Davis and Nick Hann officiating. Serving as pall bearers will be Johnny Wayne Hann, Chris Hann, Gary Wayne Hann, Dennis Hann, David Hann and Carl Ackrey.
