Obituary for Maelia R. Molina

Maelia Rivet Molina, 84, a resident of Emerson of 5 years, passed away on July 24, 2023, at her home surrounded by her family. Mrs. Molina was a previous resident of Jacksonville, FL for over 45 years.

Born on June 3, 1939, in Violeta, Cuba she was the daughter of the late Raul Isidoro Rivet and the late Zaida Marcelina Arambula. Mrs. Molina came to the United States of America in 1965 and resided in Springfield, Illinois with her husband Jose Francisco Molina. She later moved with the family to Jacksonville, Florida. Mrs. Molina was a homemaker, always putting her family first. She also had a career in Cosmetology and was a top saleswoman for Vanda Beauty early in her career. Mrs. Molina proudly became a citizen of the United States in 1987.

She is survived by her children Dwayne (Amanda), Steve (Tabitha), Melissa Hoenigmann (Eric), and Maelia Stamey (Johnny); her grandchildren Rebecca, Heather (James), Jacob, Christopher (Katelyn), Blake (Paige), Mitchell (Hannah), Amber (Brandon), Austin, Alec (Ansley), Peyton, and Addison; her great grandchildren Zoey, Logan, Tatum, Romy, Colleen, Elizabeth, Brinley, Mack, Casey, Blakely, Beckham, Bjorn, and Amelia Mae; and her brothers and sisters Raul, Bertico, Zaida, Yadira, and Damaris.

A graveside service will be held at 10:00 am on Thursday, July 27, 2023, at Sunset Memory Gardens with Crosspoint City Church officiating.

Serving as pallbearers will be her grandsons: Blake, Mitchell, Austin, Alec, Jacob, and Peyton.
