Obituary for Marcella Louise Dearing (Young)
Marcella Louise Dearing, 90, of Cartersville Georgia, passed away on September 6, 2021 at Maple Ridge Healthcare Center.
Born on October 22, 1930, she was the daughter of the late Louis Young and the late Marceline Young. She is also preceded in death by her sons, Wayne Dearing and David Dearing; her grandchild, Tiffany; and her sister, Wilma Young.
Survivors include her daughters, Donna (Lamar) Welchel and Marcie (Fred) Hysmith; sons, Paul (Nannette) Dearing and Jere Dearing; grandchildren, Chaqeeta, Keena, Laura, Jared, Dale, Autumn, Jessie, Corey, Jacob, Conor, Haley, Heidi, Taylor, Kala, Austin, Marcita, and Rachael; as well as numerous great grandchildren.
Marcella loved to sew and adored her cats. She enjoyed salt water fishing and collecting sea shells.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on Monday, September 13, 2021 in the chapel of Parnick Jennings Funeral Home with Reverend Keith Willard officiating. Interment will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Sunday, September 12, 2021 at the funeral home.
Serving as pallbearers will be Paul Dearing, Jere Dearing, Lamar Welchel, Jared Dearing, Andrew Hopkins and Taylor Welchel.
