Marty Millsaps

Marty Dwayne "Wayne" Millsaps, 42, of Cartersville passed away on May 16, 2021 at his residence.

Born on November 30, 1978, in Andrews, North Carolina, he was the son of Marty Millsaps and Donna Hyatt Hanna. He was proceeded in death by his grandparents, Allie and Geneva Hyatt; his grandfather, William Millsaps; and his uncle, Darrell Millsaps.

Wayne loved spending time outdoors and being in the woods. He was a happy person who always had a smile on his face. He had a big heart and would do anything for anybody but would also be firm when he had to be. He loved everybody, especially his dog.

In addition to his parents' survivors include his son, Benny Millsaps; his brothers and sisters-in-law, Nathan & Jessica Millsaps, Matt & Lexie Hanna and Phillip Millsaps; his sister, Rachel Ray; his nieces, Brittany Millsaps, and Macie Ray; his nephews, Dakota Millsaps, Bentley Millsaps, Jaxton Hanna & Jesse Millsaps; and his grandmother, Gertrude Millsaps.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, May 24, 2021 in the chapel of Parnick Jennings Funeral Home and Cremation Services with Reverend Daniel Stewart officiating. The family will receive friends from 12:00 p.m. – 1:30 p.m. on Monday prior to the service. Interment will be private.
