Obituary for Marvin Jackson Henson
Mr. Marvin Jackson Henson, 70, of Cartersville passed away on Wednesday, October 14, 2020 at Cartersville Medical Center.
Born on October 23, 1949 in Clarksdale, Mississippi, he was the son of William E. Henson and the late Ruby Smith Henson.
In addition to his father, survivors include his wife, Jayne Kilby Henson; his daughter, Jennifer Thompson (Matt); his son, Michael Henson; his grandchildren, Shelby Thompson, Ethan Thompson, and Norah Thompson; his sisters, Gail Fersner (Sonny), and Pam Coleman (Tom); his sister-in-law, Phyllis Russom (Gerald); his niece, Jessica Fosbinder (Daniel); and his nephew, Chris Coleman (Pamela).
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 24, 2020 at Sunset Memory Gardens with Reverend Keith Willard officiating. The family will receive friends from 9:00 a.m. – 10:30 a.m. at Parnick Jennings Funeral Home and Cremation Services prior to the service.
