Obituary for Nancy Anne Bruce (Poole)
Nancy Anne Poole Bruce, 71, of Cartersville Georgia, went to her heavenly home on Saturday, May 13, 2023.
Nancy was born in Cartersville, Georgia to Edgar ‘Gene” Poole and Marion Louise Smith Poole on December 15, 1951. She was of the Baptist Faith.
She is preceded in death by her parents; her brother, Joe Poole; her previous husband, Earl LeRoy Poole, who was killed serving in Vietnam; her husband of 48 years, Joel Bruce; nephews, Ben Lowe and Robert Poole; and a brother-in-law, Harvey Lowe.
Nancy is survived by her son, Gabriel Shane Bruce; daughter, Marion Lois Bruce (Zach Richards); granddaughters, Isabella ReAnn Bruce (and her mother, Crissy Bruce), and Harper Ann Richards (and her sister Bryleigh); sisters, Donna Widner, Mary Poole, and Becky Lowe; nieces, Becca Poole, Amy Widner Evans (Eric), Jessica Lowe Bishop (Rory), and Heather Lowe Choate (Brian); nephews, Lonnie Poole (Chris), Tony Nichols (Nikki), and Daniel Poole (Ashley); great nieces, Shea Little, Christen and Carrie Poole (and their mother, Lena Smith); great nephews, Bren Rivers (Christen), Chazz Rivers (Ashley), Adam Poole, and Tiffany Weiss (Steve); great friends, Linda Inman, Rose Brown, Teresa Hardin, Elaine Moss (Daniel) and several more.
Nancy was a hard worker, faithful wife, passionate mother, awesome grandmother, and a friend to many. Nancy loved her gnomes, arrowhead hunting, making gem trees, rock tumbling, concerts and going places. When she loved, it was with her whole heart. Nancy will be missed by all who knew her but mostly by her son, daughter, granddaughters, and sisters.
Services will be conducted on Thursday, May 18, 2023 at 2:00 pm in the chapel of Parnick Jennings Funeral Home with Pastor Ricky Allen officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12:00 pm to 1:30pm on Thursday prior to the service.
