Obituary for Oscar Bryant Noland Sr.
Oscar Bryant Noland, Sr., 71, of Cartersville, Georgia, passed away on Tuesday, November 28, 2023.
Oscar was born on April 1, 1952 in Raleigh, North Carolina, to the late Helen Barham Noland. He is also preceded in death by his brothers, Ivy Noland and Bob Noland; and granddaughter, Mackenzie Farmer.
He is survived by his loving wife, Elaine Noland; children, Allen Ross (Marsha), Terri Law (James), Lori Malone (Mike), Bryant Noland (Melinda), Marie Garner (Adam), and Kim Farmer (Brian); grandchildren, Brooke Schneider, Blake Bryson, Bayle Strain, Paige Coker, Zachery Noland, Raven Noland, Adam Ross, Kayla Ross, Sarah Ross, Hunter Hathaway, Hayden Garner, Dusti Garner, and Dylan Farmer; great grandchildren, Isabella Schneider, Riley Kaye Schneider, and Ezekiel Farmer; siblings, Jean Guthrie, Mary Noland, Lillie Mitchell, Laura Rohfling, George Noland, and Tom Noland; and several nieces and nephews.
Oscar loved his church. He was a true family man that adored his grandchildren and great grandchildren. Oscar enjoyed the outdoors and wrestling.
A funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Friday, December 1, 2023, at Faith Tabernacle Church with Pastor Randy Harris officiating. The family will be having a visitation from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. on Friday, December 1, 2023, at Faith Tabernacle Church prior to the service. Burial will follow at the Faith Tabernacle Church Cemetery on 3831 GA-140 Rydal, GA 30171.
Serving as pallbearers are Dylan Farmer, Hayden Garner, Blake Bryson, Adam Ross, Bobby Potts, and Zachery Noland.
