Obituary for Ottie Lee Adkison
Ottie Lee Adkison, 57, of Cartersville Georgia, passed away at Kennestone Hospital in Marietta, Georgia on May 30, 2023.
He was born on October 4, 1965 at the same hospital he took his last breath in. He is preceded in death by his mother, Mary Adkison and his grandparents Jasper Adkison and Mary Ellen Stubbs Adkison.
Ottie was a resident of Brantley County in Brunswick Georgia for most of his adult life. He moved to Cartersville about twenty years ago to be closer to his father and family.
He worked as a ceramic tile setter. He loved listening to his music and playing Texas Hold ‘Em on family poker night. He also enjoyed sitting on the front porch talking and reminiscing with his family about the old days.
Survivors include his father, Arthur Adkison; siblings, Niki Adkison and stepbrother Derrick Kloski; aunts, Martha Faye Tant and Helen Armstrong; uncles Robert Adkison and Edgar Adkison; as well as many cousins.
He will be missed more than he will ever know.
A memorial service for Ottie will be held at a later date.
