Obituary for Pamela Denise Lee (Townsend)
Pamela Denise Lee (Townsend), age 63, passed away on Friday, October 14, 2022, at Piedmont Cartersville Medical Center.
Pam was born on June 14, 1959 in Cartersville, Georgia to the late Allen and Dolly Townsend. She is also preceded in death by her son James Michael Bray Jr. and her sisters Linda Jones and Brenda Townsend.
She is survived by her two daughters Tonya Kossel and Angela Ellis; her siblings Glenda Freeman (Michael) and Roger Townsend (Missy); five very special grandchildren Joshua Bray, Kelsea Bray, Jacob Kossel, Hayden Bray, and Blake Daugherty; as well as several extended family members.
Pam’s grandchildren were everything to her. They lit up her life and filled it with joy. She was very loving and kindhearted and the best grandma in the world. Pam was all about her family and loved them with her whole heart. Her grandkids will always cherish memories of singing in the car with her. She was very special to them, and they will love and miss her always.
A memorial service will be held by Pam’s family at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Leslie Hilburn in order to help cover funeral expenses.
