Phillip “Pinky” Ross, 66, of Cartersville, died Saturday, August 1, 2020, with family. Born in Cartersville, GA on April 25, 1954, he was the son of the late Kenneth H Ross and the late Nora Irene Ross. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters Elizabeth Fowler and Bonny Collis and brother Charles Steven Ross. Phillip was a retired truck driver and machine operator. He was a loving son, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and brother. He loved spending time with family and friends. Survivors include his sons Shane Ross and Wayland Ross, daughter in law, Summer Day, grandchildren: Dakota Ross, Courtney Crisp, Cheyenne Ross, Dalton Ross, Christopher Ross, Mackenzie Ross, great-grandchildren: Ethan Crisp, Samuel Crisp, Dakota Crisp, Brandon Jackson, and Jaxx Lafontaine, sisters: Frances Collum, Evelyn Evans, Betty Bradley, and Florence Decker and brother Kenneth Ross. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 pm, Tuesday, August 4, 2020 in the chapel of Parnick Jennings Funeral Home and Cremation Services with Pastor Max Mayburn officiating. Interment will follow at Center Baptist Church Cemetery in Cartersville. The family will receive friends from 12:00-1:30 pm on Tuesday at the funeral home. Serving as pallbearers will be Timmy Criner, Jay Dawkins, Colby Dawkins, Daniel Rudeseal, Eric Evans, Jason Crisp, and Taylor Potts. Michael Collum will serve as an honorary pallbearer.
