Obituary for Randall "Herbie" Strickland
Randall Eugene “Herbie” Strickland, 66 of Cartersville, Georgia, passed away on November 30, 2020 at his residence. Born on December 11, 1953, he is preceded in death by his parents Gene and Lois Strickland and his wife, Darlene Dupree Strickland.
He is survived by his brother Barry (Robin) Strickland, a son, Randall (Kacey) Strickland, a daughter, Tammy Wade, his grandchildren Jake, Brooke, Michelle, Madison, Emma Strickland and Brooklynn Allen, a niece, Sarah Strickland, a nephew, Michael Strickland and a special companion, Cathy Hamby.
Randall was a member of Awtrey Baptist Church and was loved by many.
A service will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, December 2, 2020 at Parnick Jennings Funeral home with Danny Cain officiating. Interment to Oak Grove Baptist Church in Cherokee County will follow. The family will receive friends from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. prior to the service.
Serving as pallbearers are Randall Strickland, Scott Strickland, Mark Strickland, Wifford Hamby, Johnny Howard, and Robby Holder.
