Obituary for Randy Ray Murry
Randy Ray Murry, 68, of Cartersville, GA, passed away at home on, Sunday, July 3, 2022, surrounded by his family. Born on August 19, 1953, in Memphis, TN he was the son of the late Travis Murry and Mary Murry. He is also preceded in death by his brother Travis Lee (Buddy) Murry and his sister Donna Trusler.
Survivors include his wife, Cindy Murry; children Blake Murry and Dana Baxter (Britt); Grandchildren Gavin Baxter, Maddison Baxter, Jade Longstreet, and Davey Crump; sisters Cindy K. Brooks and Judy Warner.
Randy was a loving husband, father, and grandfather, he loved his family to no end! In his younger years he loved hunting, fishing, and camping. He enjoyed coaching baseball, watching Atlanta Braves, Georgia Bulldogs, and NASCAR racing.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, July 8, 2022, at 7:00 pm in the chapel of Parnick Jennings Funeral Home, with Reverend Michael Abernathy and Reverend Reggie Nation officiating. Family will receive friends from 5:00 pm – 6:30 pm prior to the service.
