Obituary for Robert L. Adcock

Robert Lee Adcock, age 72, sadly passed away on May 22, 2022 at his home in Cartersville, Georgia.

Born on June 25, 1949, he is the son of the late Howard Adcock and the late Anna Fields. He is also preceded in death by his loving wife, Geraline Adcock and his brother, Clyde Adcock.

Survivors include his children, Tammie Walker (Paul), Tony Adcock (Amy), and Timmy Adcock (Jeff); grandchildren, Mason Walker (Hannah), Trevor Adcock (Alana Webber), Anna Walker, and Avery Adcock; his great-granddaughter, Wren Walker; and his siblings, Carl Adcock (Kathy), Charles Adcock (Emalene), Annie Mae Wyatt, and a brother-in-law, Dennis Ray (Becky).

Robert was a loving and dedicated husband, father, and grandfather. He adored spending time with his children and grandchildren, loved working on cars, (for years he had been working on a 77’ Nova), enjoyed watching dirt track or NASCAR racing with his wife, Geraline, and loved watching western films 24/7. He enjoyed attending family functions and spending quality time with his family but would also be eager to head on home with Geraline to “feed the chickens.” He will be sorely missed.

A funeral service will be held for Robert at 2:00 pm on Thursday, May 26, 2022 in the Jennings Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Stephen Cochran officiating. Interment will follow at Sunset Memory Gardens. The Family will receive friends from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Wednesday, May 25, 2022 at the funeral home for a visitation.

Serving as pallbearers will be Mason Walker, Trevor Adcock, Avery Adcock, Carl Adcock Jr., Frank Neal, Greg Hightower, and Terry Williams.
