Obituary for Robert Henry Milam
Robert Henry Milam, 70, of Cartersville passed away on Wednesday, November 4, 2020 at his residence.
Born in Cartersville on September 4, 1950 he was the son of the late Robert C. Milam and the late Ruth Greene Milam.
Robert served his country in the United States Army and then went on to make a career at the Bartow County Road Department. He loved working on cars and farming.
Survivors include his wife, Brenda Groce Milam; his children, Robert R. Milam, Amanda Milam, and Nicole Bankston (Joseph, Jr.); his grandchildren, Brianna Bankston, Benston Bankston, Bella Bankston, Brooklyn Bankston, Braxton Bankston, and Easton Smith; his step-daughter, Lori Wilson (Phil); and step-grandchildren, Jesse Morris (Stephanie), and Zack Morris; his brother, David Commons (Corine); and sister, Patricia Holcomb (Rick).
The family will receive friends from 12:00 p.m. – 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 12, 2020 at Parnick Jennings Funeral Home and Cremation Services. A private graveside service will be held at Georgia National Cemetery with Reverend Dan Willis officiating.
Serving as pallbearers will be Mark Bones, Tommy Cagle, Don Tidwell, Mark King, John Young, and Shane Hardin.
