Obituary for Robert H "Cotton" Storey Jr.
Mr. Robert H. “Cotton” Storey, Jr., 82, of Cartersville passed away on Monday, October 7, 2019 at Kindred Hospital in Rome after several months of declining health.
Born on September 12, 1937, Robert retired from Chemical products after over forty years of dedicated service. He was the son of the late Robert H. Storey, Sr. and the late Ruby Dowdy Storey. He was also preceded in death by his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Sam and Mildred James; and his sister-in-law, Emily Storey.
Survivors include his loving wife of sixty-four years, Sandra James Storey; his daughter and son-in-law, Donna and Terry Huckaby; his son and daughter-in-law, James Daron and Tina Storey; his grandchildren, Tara Huckaby, Madison Storey, Derrick Goswick, and Riley Storey; his brother, Donald Storey; and several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held at 12:30 p.m. on Thursday, October 10, 2019 at Sunset Memory Gardens with Reverend Scott Storey officiating. The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. -7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 9, 2019 at Parnick Jennings Funeral Home and Cremation Services.
