Obituary for Roger Boyd Flowers
Roger Boyd Flowers, 64, passed away on May 12, 2021 at Redmond Park Hospital in Rome, Georgia. Born on December 23, 1956, he is the son of the late Herman Flowers and Rosie Woody Flowers.
Survivors include his sons, Kevin Flowers and Jason Flowers (Brandi); grandchildren, Savannah Gossett (Terry), Dawson Flowers (Nicole), and Chloe Flowers; and great-grandchildren, Waylon Gossett and Josie Kay Gossett.
Roger attended Faith Tabernacle Church and was a member of the Morning Star Masonic Lodge in Fairmount, Georgia. He also loved his Harley Davidson, which he named Jolene.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 15, 2021 at 3:00 pm in the chapel of Parnick Jennings Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Woffords Crossroads Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00 pm to 2:30 pm at the funeral home prior to the service.
Serving as pallbearers will be Jesse Poe, Dale Woody, Dusty Stringer, Austin Stringer, Eric Riseden, and Terry Gossett.
