Obituary for Ruby Heath
Mrs. Ruby Jones Heath, 92, of Cartersville died on Wednesday, April 24, 2019 at Cartersville Medical Center.
Born on January 25, 1927, in Dalton she was the daughter of the late Tom Line Jones and the late Rosa Belle Dyer Jones. She was also preceded in death by her husband of sixty-two years, Clarence Andrew Heath; and her daughter, Sheila Sue Heath.
Mrs. Heath was a homemaker who loved canning, flowers, gardening, her family, and her dog, Harvey. She was of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include her daughters and son-in-law, Shirley Hamilton, and Martha Heath Mason (Gary); her sons and daughter-in-law, David Heath, and Jimmy Heath (Ida); her sister, Ann Edmondson all of Cartersville; nine grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 27, 2019 in the chapel of Parnick Jennings Funeral Home and Cremation Services with Reverend Joe Nix officiating. Burial will follow in Friendship Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. on Friday evening at the funeral home.
Serving as pallbearers will be Stephen Westbrook, Aric Hamilton, Grant Hamilton, Chase Heath, Evan Heath, Marcus Hartness, and James King.
