Obituary for Sam Junior "Mac" Lowe
Sam Junior Lowe (aka “Mac”), 63, of Rome, Georgia, passed away at home on May 8, 2022.
Born on January 11, 1959, Mac is the son of Sarah E. Lowe and the late Sam Lowe.
Mac is survived by his daughter Misty Lowe D’Ovidio (Tony), his siblings; Frank Lowe, Joseph Lowe, Martha Ann Lowe Strange (Delmar), Carolyn Lowe Chapple (Tim), Susan Lowe, and Timothy Lowe, his grandchildren; Alyssa Cheyenne D’Ovidio, Ariel Dawn D’Ovidio, and Dallas Russell D’Ovidio, as well as several nieces and nephews.
Mac is preceded in death by his father, Sam Lowe, his nephew Alex Gallegos, and his brother-in-law, Delmar Strange.
A funeral service will be held for Mac in the Jennings Funeral Home Chapel on Sunday, May 15, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. with interment to follow at the Old Macedonia Cemetery. The family will host guests for a visitation at the funeral home from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Saturday evening, May 14, 2022. The funeral service will be officiated by Mitchell Martin and serving as pallbearers will be Shawn Strange, Hunter Tordrup, Jay Duncan, Chris Stewart, Chandler Stewart, Joseph Woods, and Cody Lowe.
