Sandra Faith “Sandy” Chambers, 72, of Cartersville, passed away suddenly Friday, April 9, 2021 in Cartersville.
Born February 1, 1949 in Dalton, Georgia, she is the daughter of Ruby “Jerry” Lusk and the late Cecil Lusk.
Survivors include her mother, Ruby “Jerry” Lusk; daughter Jimmi Lynn Hale and her husband John; grandchildren Will Hale and Jackson Hale; brothers and sisters Gayle Taylor, Lynn (Sanford) Hosea, Michael (Rita) Lusk, Debbie (Joseph) Brown, Jerry Summey; numerous nieces and nephews and her aunt Betty Beck.
Sandy was a car buff. Her favorite cars were the 55 – 57 Chevrolets. She loved going to the beach, the mountains, fishing, and gardening. She supplied her grandsons with eggs to throw at trees from the deck. Sandy loved just riding the backroads of Bartow County, enjoying the woods, streams, and nature.
A funeral service is scheduled on Tuesday, April 13, 2021 at Parnick Jennings Funeral Home at 2:00 pm with Reverend Dewayne McCreary officiating. Serving as pallbearers are Will Hale, Jackson Hale, Cooper Gilstrap, Dalton Gilstrap, Chris Lusk, and Casey Lusk. A visitation will be held prior to the service from 12:00 pm – 1:30 pm.
