Obituary for Sherri Zentz
Sherri Renee Zentz, age 65, of Cartersville Georgia, passed away at home on Tuesday, January 10, 2023.
Sherri was born on August 13, 1957, in Bakersfield, California to the late George Townsend an Billye Sue Williams. She is also preceded in death by her brother Jerry Townsend.
Survivors include her loving husband of over 30 years, Andrew Zentz; her children Daniel Marcus (Jan), Tia Romanik, Katrina Kurtz (Ryan Castle), and Brittany Shirley (Jonathan); her grandchildren Brent Turley, David Turley, Phoenix Marcus, Grant Romanik, and Griffin Turner; her sisters Cheryl Youngblood, Terri Tremblay (Kevin), Lori Malkowski (Ken), and Lisa McMillan; as well as several nieces, nephews, extended family members, and her family at Okinawa, where she was a managing partner.
Sherri was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and sister. She was always very involved in helping others and enjoyed organizing fundraisers for local schools and sporting events. She was a pillar of her community and will be missed tremendously.
Sherri’s family will be hosting a visitation on Monday, January 16, 2023 from 11:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. at Parnick Jennings Funeral Home.
