Obituary for Shirley Cross
Shirley Mae Cross, 76, of Cartersville, Georgia, sadly passed away at Wildwood Healthcare Center in Jasper, Georgia, on December 23, 2022.
Born on July 29, 1946, Shirley was the daughter of the late Ernest Atkinson & Ruth Atkinson. She is also preceded in death by her son Littlejoe Junior Cross; her grandson Dylan James Cross; and her siblings Amos Atkinson, Sally Banks, Mary Vaughan, and Ann Fox.
Shirley is survived by her loving children Danny Cross (Tina), Brad Cross, and Robert Cross; her grandchildren Daniel Cross, Kristina Cross, Isaac Cross, Matthew Cross, Tyler Phillips, and Cadus Mohan; as well as several extended family members.
The family will be receiving friends at Parnick Jennings Funeral Home on Saturday, December 31, 2022 from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. A funeral service will be held for Shirley following the visitation at 2:30 p.m. with a burial to follow at Shinall Cemetery. Officiating will be Rev. Shane Banks.
Isaac Cross, Matthew Cross, Daniel Cross, Franklin Hardman, Raymond Banks, and Glenn Costlow will be serving as pallbearers.
